Dental Financing & Our Membership Plan: Care Without the Sticker Shock

·By Dr. Scroggs

Dental care should be a question of "what do I need?" — not "can I afford it?" The honest reality is that cost stops a lot of people from coming in. Here are the practical tools we use to keep care reachable for the families we see.

Our in-house membership plan

For patients without dental insurance, our membership plan is the simplest way to make routine care affordable and predictable. For one yearly fee, you get your regular preventive visits included (cleanings, exams, routine X-rays) and a meaningful discount on other treatment if you need it.

There are no claim forms, no waiting periods, and no surprise denials. It's not insurance — it's a direct, no-middleman membership between you and our office. For a family that doesn't have dental coverage through work, it's often the most straightforward way to stay on top of things.

A membership plan for local employers

We also offer a version of our membership plan built for businesses — a simple way for an employer to give their team access to our care at no cost to the business. It works a little differently from our individual plan: instead of including cleanings and exams, it offers them at a reduced fee, with the same discounts on other treatment as our standard plan. For a small business that can't swing group dental insurance, it's an easy, no-cost way to offer employees a real benefit. If you're a local employer, give us a call and we'll walk you through it.

Financing partners

For larger treatment — implants, full-arch work, multiple crowns, orthodontics — we work with several financing partners so we can match you to the option that actually fits your situation: Cherry, CareCredit, Alphaeon Credit, Proceed Finance, LendingClub, Covered Care, and HFD. Different lenders suit different needs — some offer interest-free promotional periods, others work better for larger or longer-term plans — and our team helps you find the best fit. You apply directly with the financing company (we're not the lender), and decisions are usually quick.

Using insurance and financing together

If you have dental insurance, we file your claim and apply your benefits first — financing then covers what's left, if anything. For bigger cases, we'll often phase treatment across the calendar year so your annual maximum resets and you get the most out of your coverage. We'll explain that strategy honestly, in your specific situation, before you commit to anything. Whatever the path — insurance, our membership plan, or financing — we're always looking for the lowest-cost honest route for you.

A written estimate, every time

Before we begin any work beyond a routine cleaning, you get a clear written estimate. We tell you what insurance is expected to cover, what your portion is likely to be, and what financing would look like if you want it. You decide what fits your life — never us, never on the spot.

If money is what's been holding you back

Please just call. We'd much rather help you find a path forward than have you sit at home in pain. Our new-patient page covers the basics, and a quick phone call can put real numbers on the table — no commitment.
