If you're researching a full set of permanent teeth on implants, you've probably run into a confusing pile of names — All-on-4, All-on-X, "teeth in a day," and branded approaches like 3-on-6. Here's a plain-English guide to what they actually mean, and what we offer.
The shared idea
Almost all of these solve the same problem the same basic way: instead of a removable denture, a full arch of fixed teeth is anchored to a handful of dental implants, so you walk out with teeth that stay put. You don't take them out. You brush them like your own.
All-on-4 and All-on-X
All-on-4 means a full arch supported by four implants — a well-established, time-tested approach. "All-on-X" is just the umbrella term for the same idea using however many implants your case actually needs — the "X" stands in for that number. More implants can mean more support in certain cases; the right number depends on your bone and your bite.
About branded names like "3-on-6"
You may also see branded or trademarked programs — "3-on-6" is one — that describe a particular full-arch configuration, such as a fixed bridge supported by six implants. These are specific providers' branded protocols. We don't market under those brand names, but we do offer fixed full-arch implant restorations — including FP-1 fixed bridges that look and function like natural teeth — that accomplish the same goal: a permanent, fixed, full set of teeth. If you've been quoted a branded option elsewhere, bring it in and we'll explain honestly how our approach compares.
